A Lovely Update

Just re connected with an old Kender Kitty Family - and its just lovely ! What we always hope to hear.

Hi Alice

It has been a while but I just wanted to update you on our kitties! We (The Callenbach Family) have gotten two cats from you in 2004 (Mika) and 2008 (Junior). I have been trying to convince my boyfriend to get a siberian cat for a while now since he is allergic to cats and does well with mine. I found old documents from when we got our cats and decided to look you up and found your blog with all the updates so I thought I'd give you one about our cats! 

Mika will be 11 this year. I can't believe I got her when I was 12! She has been my best friend throughout the years and the best pet I could have ever had. She was supposed to be the family cat but turned out to be mine right off the bat. She always wants to cuddle with me and has the sweetest personality. She knows when I'm not feeling well and won't leave me side. She was a pretty shy cat for a while but once we got Junior it all changed. Her personality has blossomed a lot through out the years and she is the biggest princess. I could go on and on about her and write a whole novel if no one stopped me. 

Junior is a playful trouble maker. I always tell people that he never grew out of his kitten phase because he acts exactly how he did as a kitten. He is the sweetest boy even though he can be a pain in the butt (like begging every time we walk into the kitchen or torturing Mika by pouncing on her). We love our little lion kitty to pieces. 

He's not a huge cuddle like Mika, but we all treasure the moments that he wants to cuddle up on our laps. He also loves his big sister even though most of the time she tries to ignore him lol! 

Thanks for breeding the best cats! They are more than just our pets, they're our family!
